Rediff has launched train fare search in collaboration with Indian Railways. I am giving you the link here under, which i guess flexible to use. I typed "ban" (for bangalore) in the from field and it gave the list of all railway stations in India with the word "ban" and similarly for chennai "che". It also has two other fields date of travel and class of travel. After inputing the data, it will give the list of all trains in this case between bangalore and chennai. It displays the name of the train which is also a link (if click on the train name, it shows the number of stops in between), arrival time and departure time, links to check availability and route. It displays the number of trains according to class of travel selected and fare for that class of travel. If class of travel is selected as "any", it displays all those trains plying between bangalore and chennai.
